It’s a pretty tall upright which is exactly what we wanted. Was made in 1915, the same year my grandpa was born. He is now 96!
I was told that the certified Steinway guy said it was a “traveling piano.” It has wheels, and the wood is scratched here & there. The inside is very well kept, and it sounds great. I wonder what kind of life it had! The history!! I imagine people playing ragtime on this baby for real! I definitely want to tap into that energy….

this descending phrase of “oohs” (my iphone wanted to change that to “pigs” just now) against this progression with bells..
